A little bit of fashion doesn't hurt anyone...

Although MUSIC is my first and most important love of my life, FASHION is right behind it. I believe that music and fashion go hand in hand.
I also belive MUSIC defines your STYLE for the most part.
So expect to see some of that involved in this blog of mine, and thanks for visiting....

LOOKBOOK.nu

I love seeing everyone's different and quirky styles on this site.
Some are outrageous, some are oh so gorgeous, some are preppy, some are careless and free, and some are plain cool. If I were to have a page I wonder how my style would be perceived as...

Anyway, as I am stumbling all the HOT pages on lookbook, I came up on some guys that dress wayyyy cooler than I do. I love love love it but then kind of get jealous. Haha

If you're a fan of lookbook or never heard of it and is mildly interested;
go check these pages out. I warn you, you may feel a little bit of love, jealousy, and a strong urge to go shopping...right...away.

Best colors and co-ordination:
dennywenny

Best relaxed style. Oh and best messy hair:
tincanman

Best grunge/rock and edgy style:
viniuehara

Best grunge/prep and then sometimes nautical style ever:

My love for Youtube Covers

When I am feeling very lazy with various snacks within my reach, whether I am in bed or on the couch; one of my favorite pastime is watching youtube covers...lol I know, there are definitely better things I can do with my time. BUT! My argument is: there are A LOT of singers and artists out there that are so talented and I love seeking them out. Watching these amazing talented people below me is not only entertaining, but oh! The creativeness!

It's refreshing to see these undiscovered talents (ACTUAL talents-you know what I mean) and what they have to offer. And for some of them it may be their pastime or hobby, but for the most part they deserve to be discovered and given some sort of recognition if not some limelight. By watching and listening over and over again and sharing it on your facebook, twitter and of course on my blog, I will show my support. :P

So here's several of my favorites. Enjoy!

Mike Thomson

Sam Tsui

Christina Grimmie

I really dislike Miley Cyrus but this is a prime example showing that it all depends on the artist and the talent...

Helena and Maria

Clara Chung

Tiffany Eugenio

It's all pop I know, but it all depends on my mood!

Okay let me throw in an awesome cover of Radiohead by Mark Ronson and Phantom planet in the mix.

Yawn, I think it's time for bed...I'm trying to get my body used to just 4-6hours of sleep but it's not going so well.
I guess I'm just gonna have to take shots, shots, shots! Of Espresso! Come on :P

Jónsi.

For those of you that have not heard of Jón Þór Birgisson, aka Jónsi, he is the vocalist and guitarist for the band Sigur Rós.

His solo album, "Go" was released on April 6, 2010.

I have only come across this album around June and whenever I am in one of my funk moods, this album is one of my favorite escapes. That's a great word to describe Jónsi's songs and his voice. This album's sound cannot be categorized into a specific genre, and his beautiful Icelandic falsetto voice mingled with melodic ambience and orchestral brilliance shouldn't have to be. It is what it is. You just let go and enjoy it...

My favorite song right now would have to be "Boy Lillikoi" and "Go Do".
Check it out!

And if you want to hear the creative mind that is Jónsi, listen to this radio interview from right after his album was released...
